WHY CHOOSE ONLINE GROUP CLASS?

Advantages of Group Class

Aside from a lower cost, group class has other benefits:

  • Social Interaction – Group class encourage interaction with other learners. This can create excellent practice opportunities. This allows students who do not have private lessons to develop proactive routines between sessions that can show tremendous progress.
  • Learn From Peers – One of the advantages of the group class is seeing how others are progressing or not progressing. Students can learn from the mistakes of others.
  • Overcome Shyness – Group class is recommended for students who tend to be shy or uncomfortable in one-on-one situations.

Class Detail

  • Each class is 40 minutes long
  • We meet via Skype or Hangouts
  • Online whiteboard – touch-friendly online whiteboard app that lets you use your computer, tablet or smartphone to easily write, collaborate with instructor and classmates.
  • Live class in a group.  During the class, I will encourage every student to participate, so that everyone makes progress.
  • Learning materials included in your enrollment fee.

Day of Class: You’ll receive an email with Skype or Hangouts link along with an online whiteboard link within 5-10 minutes prior to your class.

1st week of the month – Lesson 1: Hangul Simple Vowels and Consonants

2nd week of the month – Lesson 2: Hangul Compound Vowels

3rd week of the month – Lesson 3: Hangul Double Consonants and Final Consonants

4th week of the month – Lesson 4: Greetings (안녕하세요?, etc.), Formalities

5th week of the month – No Lesson, Take a break or review for next level

BEGINNER LEVEL 2 SCHEDULE – Every Fridays @ 7:15 PM PST

1st week of the month – Lesson 1: Korean Number Systems (Native and Sino)

2nd week of the month – Lesson 2: Asking age and Creating simple sentences with 이다.

3rd week of the month – Lesson 3: This, That, That over there, 이/가, 은/는

4th week of the month – Lesson 4: Creating simple sentences with 아니다

5th week of the month – No Lesson, Take a break or review for next level

BEGINNER LEVEL 3 SCHEDULE – Not Available Currently

1st week of the month – Lesson 1: Introduction to Adjectives

2nd week of the month – Lesson 2: Creating sentences using adjectives with 이/가, 은/는

3rd week of the month – Lesson 3: Creating sentences 이, 그, 저 + noun, ~씨, ~님

4th week of the month – Lesson 4: ㅂ Irregular verbs, Pronouns, 의

5th week of the month – No Lesson, Take a break or review for next level

 

Policy

All lessons are FINAL. There are no refunds on enrollment fee. In case of absence, you may attend one make-up class if available.
