최애 means your favorite person, artist, character, song, or anything you especially love.

It comes from:

최 (choe) = most
애 (ae) = love

So, in a very simple sense, 최애 is your “most-loved” favorite.

For example:

Je choeaeneun nugu-yeyo?
Who is my favorite?

More naturally, you could say:

For a person whose name ends in a consonant, you may use 이에요:
