🌸 Help Keep Korean Learning Authentic

Hello,

I hope this message finds you well. 🌷

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with so many wonderful students, families, and visitors through my lessons and TheKoreanTutor.com. Since 2005, teaching Korean has been not just my career, but my greatest passion. I’ve dedicated nearly 20 years to developing my own Focus Korean Textbook Series and to building lessons that truly support both children and adults from the ground up — starting with the very foundation of Hangeul.

With the growing popularity of Korean culture — from K-pop and K-dramas to Korean media — more companies and individuals are rushing to offer Korean lessons. Recently, I’ve noticed that parts of my teaching materials and website content have been used without permission. What’s most concerning is that some of these tutors are offering Korean classes, especially for children, without the proper foundation or experience to guide them. Many of them are also gathering more reviews online right now, but as you know, numbers don’t always tell the real story. What matters most is the authenticity and care behind the teaching. As you know, learning a language — especially for kids — requires care, structure, and true expertise.

That’s why I’m reaching out with a personal request. If my classes, resources, or guidance have ever been helpful to you (or to your child), would you take just 5–10 minutes to leave me a genuine review?

Unlike businesses that rely on purchased or copied reviews, the words from my students and their families are real, heartfelt, and filled with the memories of our time learning together. Your review not only supports me — it also helps future students find a trustworthy place to begin their own journey with Korean.

Here are the links where you can leave a review (you can choose one or copy/paste your review across all):

Your kindness and support will help me continue doing what I love: teaching Korean, guiding the next generation of learners, and sharing the beauty of Korean language, culture, and history.

Thank you so much for your time, your trust, and your continued encouragement. I truly couldn’t do this without you.

Warm regards,
Suebeet Kim
